I am 34, father of one little daughter, Iris and married to Liz. I live in Corsham in Wiltshire and stood for the Labour Party at the General Election in 2010. I came third – kept the deposit, beat UKIP – fairly happy. This was my first taste of political life and I enjoyed it (mostly). In particular, I found the debates and hustings engaging. Political dicussion is more critical than ever for the Labour Party as we look for a new leader and come to terms with opposition. The key issues for Labour and the left will form the bulk of the material on this blog.
